What’s the difference between an edge-of-dock leveler and a hydraulic dock leveler?
Edge-of-dock levelers, such as the MD-CH (hydraulic) and MD-CM (mechanical) Series, mount directly to the dock face and are ideal when pit leveler installation isn’t feasible. Our U-Series Hydraulic Dock Levelers operate at the touch of a button, with strategically welded steel beams and independent lip control for lower maintenance and faster cycle times.
What’s a dock lift, and when would I use one instead of building a loading dock?
The LoMaster Stationary Dock Lift is a heavy-duty hydraulic lift, pit- or pad-mounted, offering a safe alternative to building a full loading dock at roughly a third of the cost of a forklift, in capacities from 5,000 to 20,000 lb. The LoMaster Low Profile (S-Series) is a lower-cost, semi-portable option installed at the dock face on locating cradles and wear plates, in capacities from 4,000 to 6,000 lb.
How do vehicle restraint systems keep trailers secure at the dock?

The Fixed Head Pad Dock Seal fits 8′ x 8′ openings and seals trailers 12′ to 13′ high on a typical 4′ dock. The Adjustable Head Pad Dock Seal fits 8′ wide x 10′ high openings and seals trailers 11′ to 13.5′ high on a typical 4′ dock.
