American Door has manufactured, installed and serviced commercial entrance systems and loading dock equipment across Long Island and the greater New York City area since 1969, working directly with facility managers, general contractors and property owners on both new construction and repair calls.

Doors & shutters. We supply rolling doors and security grilles, rolling steel and aluminum shutters, sectional overhead doors, and rapid high-speed doors for warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing plants and retail storefronts, sized and specified to match your opening, traffic volume and insulation needs.

Personnel doors. Alongside vehicle-size openings, we supply personnel doors and man doors built into or beside overhead doors, giving staff and visitors safe walk-through access without cycling the main door.

Loading dock equipment. We install and service dock seals and shelters, mechanical and hydraulic dock levelers, and loading lifts that bridge the gap between a trailer bed and your dock floor, along with vehicle safety and restraint systems that lock a trailer in place during loading to prevent trailer creep and dock accidents.

Gates & fencing. For perimeter and yard security we install sliding gates and fences and folding scissor gates, sized for vehicle and pedestrian openings alike.

Finishing & compliance services. Our powder coating service gives steel doors, gates and railings a durable, factory-quality finish in your choice of color, and our rolling fire door drop testing keeps your fire-rated doors compliant with NFPA 80 and your local fire code, with documentation for your records.
